🪐👽 Alien World
The Alien World mashup is a curated Emoji Kitchen combination that blends 🪐 Ringed Planet with 👽 Alien using the Ghost blend mode. The Ghost blend mode overlays one emoji as a translucent, ghostly layer on top of another for an eerie, see-through effect. The pairing works because the two source emojis each bring something the other lacks — Ringed Planet contributes its core expression while Alien recontextualizes it — so the fused result reads as a single new idea rather than two emojis sitting side by side. The combination sits on a #7c3aed background chosen to keep both glyphs legible after blending. To recreate or remix it, open the Emoji Kitchen editor, pick 🪐 Ringed Planet and 👽 Alien, and select Ghost mode; from there you can add extra layers or change the background. Other Ghost mode combinations worth trying include 👻😈 Demon Ghost, 💀🌸 Death Bloom, 🎃👻 Halloween. Browse the full set in the mashup gallery.
