Emoji Kitchen
Emoji Kitchen is a free browser-based emoji combiner: pick any two of the 317+ emojis in the library, choose one of 8 blend modes, and the mashup renders instantly as a shareable image — no account, no download, and nothing ever uploaded to a server. It is inspired by Google's Emoji Kitchen feature in Gboard, and it extends that idea with unlimited layers, custom background colors, a curated gallery of 30 combinations, and a video mode that animates finished mashups. Getting a result takes under a minute: choose a base emoji from one of the 9 categories — 😀 Smileys (42), 🐱 Animals (34), 🍕 Food & Drink (37), 🌸 Nature (35), 🎸 Objects (34), ❤️ Hearts & Symbols (34), 👍 Gestures (27), 🎉 Fun & Misc (53), 🏁 Flags (21) — then layer a second emoji on top and decide how the two should merge. The Fusion blend mode merges two emojis into a single fused image, blending their pixels for a seamless hybrid expression. The Ghost blend mode overlays one emoji as a translucent, ghostly layer on top of another for an eerie, see-through effect. If you want something harsher, the Glitch blend mode introduces digital artifacts and channel separation, breaking two emojis into a corrupted mashup. The remaining modes — Split, Surround, Mirror, Swap, Pulse — cover split, mirrored, swapped, wrapped, and pulsing compositions, so the same pair of emojis can produce eight genuinely different results before you add a single extra layer. Beyond building from scratch, the gallery doubles as a recipe book: entries like 😀❤️ Love Smile, 🍕🔥 Fire Pizza, 🦄🌈 Rainbowcorn show their two source emojis and the mode used, so any of the 30 combinations can be recreated or remixed in the editor in a few clicks. The pairing math is the real hook — every one of the 317 emojis can meet every other one, and With hundreds of emoji available, there are over 18000 possible combinations. Each combination creates a unique visual result that blends elements from both source emoji. A face layered over an object shows how someone feels about that thing, two animals fuse into a creature no font carries, and three stacked emojis tell a story no single glyph can. Practical notes: mashups export as images ready for chats, social posts, and Discord emotes, and Yes, you can screenshot or download the mashup result and share it on social media platforms, in messages, or anywhere you want a unique emoji expression. Yes, when creating mashups in the kitchen, you can choose different background colors to make your combination stand out. Nothing you combine is saved on a server, which keeps the tool fast, private, and identical on phone and desktop. Start in the emoji kitchen editor, speed-run a two-emoji blend in the pair tool, look up a specific glyph through emoji search, or read the technique guides on the blog — the complete guide to blend modes is the best starting point — before experimenting on your own.
